Enigma Cipher Centre is Poznań Heritage Centre’s latest publication. 

The book contains information on both the history of the Enigma Cipher Centre and of the building of the former military supply depot – today’s Collegium Martineum. 

You will find here the story of three cryptologists: Marian Rejewski, Henryk Zygalski and Jerzy Różycki as well as of their incredible accomplishment in 1932. You will also learn how their achievements influenced the world we live in today. 

The publication is addressed to those who are interested in the history of ciphers, cryptology and the development of the computer world and computer science as well as to those who wish to learn more about the success of the Polish mathematicians. 

The publication features wonderful photographs from the cryptologists’ family albums as well as photos documenting the activity of the Enigma Cipher Centre so far. You will also find here information about visiting the exhibition for school students, teachers, families and seniors.
